Campaign Story
Undeniably, the role of education in transforming the lives of people is crucially important. Our current literacy rate is 56 percent which means that half of our country is illiterate. An estimated 22 million children majority of them girls are not going to school. SOS Children’s Villages believes that every child deserves to be better educated, nourished, and groomed. SOS Children’s Villages in accordance with its resources is contributing to the future of young students. With our Alfalah Scholarship Program, we are catering to the needs of brilliant but needy students at school, college, and university levels. Moreover, our Child Protection Centers, Skills Development Centers in collaboration with Child Protection and Rehabilitation Trust (CPRT) are preparing out-of-school children to take interest in their studies and get back to school.
